| According to a 2003 report
by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there
are over 50 deaths and 66,000 emergency room injuries
to children under the age of 5 that are associated
with nursery products each year. |
| In the year 2000, 81 deaths
were associated with cribs and playpens, baby baths
or seats, infant carriers/seating, child seating,
carriages and strollers, baby gates and miscellaneous
nursery products. Many of these deaths and injuries
