IcyHot Heat Therapy Injury, Burns and Recall
|

| In February 2008, Chattem, Inc., the manufacturer of IcyHot Heat Therapy Air Activated products, issued a recall of the products due to reports of serious skin burns. Consumer have complained of receiving first, second and third degree burns as well as skin irritation resulting from IcyHot products. |
| These products are sold over the counter at food and drug stores, and all lots and all sizes of the following Icy Hot Heat Therapy products are affected by this recall: |
- Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat- Back
- Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat- Arm, Neck, and Leg
- Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat- Arm, Neck, and Leg single-use "samples" bonus packs included in certain cartons of 3 oz. Aspercreme Pain Relieving Creme.
