| Jet skis and other
personal watercraft have exploded in popularity
in the last decade. On some lakes and waterways
it can seem as if the number of jet skis has
increased geometrically in recent years. Where
they are most prevalent, the boom in popularity
of personal watercraft jet skis has created serious
safety and logistical problems. Studies show
that 60 percent of all accidents with these craft
involved drivers with fewer than 100 hours of
experience. |
